What was a bit of a shame was that the two en-suite bathrooms on the upper floor did not contain a toilet and that for 3 bedrooms on the upper floor, you could only use one toilet on the upper floor. But as the beautiful old doors are unfortunately very noisy when opened and closed, we almost always used the guest toilets on the ground floor so as not to wake anyone up. And the mosquito nets in 2 bedrooms were a little damaged / non-existent. Otherwise, we felt very comfortable in the accommodation, enjoyed our holiday to the full and can really recommend the house (apart from the small restriction mentioned above).

The view is as splendid as ever, with fabulous sunsets from the terrace and a glass of Bandol.
Everything was perfect, including the organisation before arrival by Benoit and the welcome on site by Sylvie. We can only recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at La Vista very much. The first statement of our kids: „this is the nicest house we ever had“ And that’s true. We missed nothing and the aircondition was really helpful. A house with a beautiful view!

The descent to the house is an impressive slope that is difficult for large cars to access. Careful when leaving and going through the gate, e.g. my car hit the rail every time. Not recommended for people with reduced mobility.

There’s a large living room with 2 super-comfortable sofas and armchairs, indirect lighting and a pretty décor with paintings by an artist from Le Castellet. The very functional kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-range appliances and Villeroy & Boch crockery, which is rare in rental properties where everything is often plastic and comes from discount shops! Upstairs, the bedrooms are all very pretty and above all the bedding is very pleasant, as are all the household linen, which is also of very high quality… nothing is missing and everything has been well thought out! The outside is super nice with the large terrace on which we had lunch every day, the swimming pool without any opposite is a haven of peace, the carport is very practical and the environment is very calm and nice for little walks with our 2 bichons. I’d like to finish by mentioning Sylvie’s welcome, who is a ray of sunshine with her smile, kindness and availability, and of course Benoît, who is extremely responsive and friendly, very attentive and very professional! The common spaces, kitchen, dining room, living room, and especially the outdoor seating area and pool were great. We never felt cramped or crowded. The owner representatives were very easy to deal with and very responsive. Despite a steep driveway and small parking area, we had no trouble fitting three separate cars. The landscaping is lovely and very serene. The building is not modern and is starting to show its age in places, but that all seemed immaterial in light of the space, the seclusion, and the excellent location.

Villa La Vista was a truly wonderful place to stay for us as a family of seven including 2 young children. The house was beautifully kept, clean, very spacious and well equipped. It worked so well as a winter house, lovely and warm and a lovely fire; it felt like a home away from home and we would love to consider coming back for the summer holidays. The views are spectacular and we were lucky to be able to eat out & bbq on the summer terrace. The bathrooms could do with a little TLC but the linen, towels and beds were really lovely. We were met promptly and check in was very smooth as was our departure. I would highly recommend and as mentioned will certainly look to a summer stay here.
